INDOOR SPACE
Each of our areas contains age-appropriate toys and equipment selected specifically to stimulate children’s development at each stage.
Whether it is a soft toy that provides comfort, a puzzle that develops their problem-solving skills or a dressing-up box that stirs their imagination, there is something to stimulate all their senses.
 
All toys and equipment are brightly arranged in easy-to-access shelves to delight and entertain as well as educate. Storage boxes with picture labels encourage children to search independently for their own toy and help tidy it away afterwards.
At Green Lane Nursery we value the importance of keeping our bodies and minds active and as part of our extra-curricular activities, we provide Teddy tennis and Yoga sessions on a weekly basis.
SENSORY ROOM
Our relaxing sensory room is the ideal wind-down space for all our children and it is especially loved by any of our children with special educational needs.

Dimmed lighting, soft surfaces, different textures, and music all play their part in this special room.

It is a sanctuary, providing children with essential reflective time as well as an area for calm play and learning.

OUTDOOR SPACE
​We have an extensive back garden area with natural grass, a sandpit, a climbing frame, and a big slide all of which encourage physical development, motor skills and outdoor fun.

Our garden has a sheltered area, which enables children to go outside also during wet days, and a large planting area where our children enjoy planting herbs and flowers.

We believe in the power of nature to not only provide endless learning opportunities but also provide a nurturing environment to support the children’s emotional development and help them build a sense of independence and confidence.
